The Exorcist
Dikenal sebagai film terseram sepanjang masa dengan sejarah yang seram pula.
Linda Blair, aktris pemeran utama, mengalami depresi yang parah. Seringpula terjadi kebakaran misterius dan kematian di lokasi syuting. Setidaknya ada 9 orang yang meninggal selama proses syuting, mulai dari aktor hingga kru film.
Saat pemutaran perdana di bioskop, banyak penonton yang muntah, pingsan, terkena serangan jantung bahkan histeris seperti orang kesurupan. Saat film ini tayang perdana di Italia, tepatnya Metropolitan Theatre di kota Roma, ada kilat menyambar gedung itu. Uniknya, kilat tersebut menyambar dan meruntuhkan salib berusia 400 tahun
