Dia memamerkan karyanya secara cuma-cuma di jalan-jalan, menarik perhatian orang-orang yang sebelumnya tidak tertarik untuk berkunjung ke museum. Namun dibalik karyanya,dia tetap anonymous dan tidak menjelaskan potret keseluruhan dari karya yang dibuatnya, JR (inisial) menyisakan ruang kosong untuk sebuah titik temu antara subjek/protagonis dan orang yang melihat/interpreter. Inilah yang JR lakukan.... misterius, tetapi menarik perhatian.
