The ProAc Studio 130, have been in development for 2 years and the results speak for themselves.
The ProAc studio 130's cabinet has been redesigned with a slimmer baffle to aid dispersion and rigidity, and the new bass driver is now floorported. This bass driver has a new chassis and motor assembly and this, in conjunction with the floor porting, gives a faster, cleaner bass.
A new 25mm dome tweeter replaces the old ¾ inch dome from the studio 125's. This new dome is similar to those used in ProAcs higher end models. The two units are mated seamlessly by a new crossover network. This is split to allow bi-amping and bi-wiring. Every aspect of the Studio 125 has been improved on the new ProAc Studio 130. The sound is now nimble, faster and more open with greater efficiency and more detail whilst retaining the natural sound for which ProAc is renowned.
True to their English heritage every ProAc loudspeaker is hand-crafted by ProAc's technicians who are individually responsible for the building and testing of each unit hear in England. Build quality alone is unsurpassed, each cabinet being meticulously constructed, damped and finished in Cherry real wood veneer.
