Story



The seven planets of the world of ROSE Online were created by the goddess Arua. However, Hebarn, the god of malice, took over the seventh planet and renamed it after himself. To protect the other planets from Hebarn, Arua created the Visitors and sent them to Junon, the first planet. The seven planets are: Junon, Luna, Eldeon, Orlo, Skaaj, Karkia, Hebarn.(Skaaj, Karkia, Hebarn are still in development-phase.)





Gameplay



ROSE Online is a free roaming typical level-up based MMORPG featuring anime inspired graphics and "a very cute game environment in comparison to many other titles on the market."[1] Players fight monsters, gain character levels, obtain new skills and find equipment to prepare themselves for future battles. Players travel to different planets and explore new environments as well as battle other players and declare wars against other clans. The game features its own in-game economy which is directly controlled by players. Supply and demand can change each day so it is up to the player to seize the opportunity.

In addition to leveling through the method of acquiring experience points leading to a level after the defeat of a monster, a character may also aid their leveling experience with the use of Quests. Quests are initiated after speaking to a NPC. Some quests are given a time limit so the character must complete the quest to be eligible for a reward. A reward may be constituted of material items and is usually accompanied with an experience point reward and a money reward (the in-game currency is called Zulie). Rewards from quests are affected by the amount of charm a character has.



There are three types of items, to which the Inventory is divided: Equipment, items characters may wear on their bodies; Consumable which consists of consumable items that may recover HP or MP , or perform an effect (i.e. dance, learn a skill, shoot fireworks, socket items), and Material which covers general miscellany, such as materials for crafting, gems, and ammunition for weapons that need them.

ROSE Online consists of seven vast planets. Each planet has its own set of particular characteristics and environments. Players Make Their Own Legends

The quests in ROSE Online are affected by the activities of the user community. Ever changing in-game environments such as quests and monster spawn rates are influenced by the action of the players. As a Visitor in the world each player writes their own legends by becoming part of the environment and world. As part of any players journey they will be asked to choose their own fates by aligning their favor towards one of the gods.

Player vs. Player & Clan vs. Clan

Players can form groups or take part in clan vs. clan battles and compete for power and items. Clans can work together to compete at the highest of levels to earn riches and valuable items and gear. Participate in Open PvP or take it to the Training Grounds and test your power and strength with friends with Player formed groups.

Technological Innovation & Tuning System

There are a total of 3 forms of transportation available in ROSE Online. Castle Gear which was developed to cause great damage to enemies in battles, the Cart which was developed to efficiently traverse the land, and the Flying Vessel which was developed to realize the dream of exploring outer space. It is possible to customize Carts and Castle Gears by changing parts and upgrading abilities.

NPC Controlled Factions

Factions differ from Clans because the faction community is controlled by NPCs rather than by the users. By joining factions, users can participate in various quests which drive the stories of the 7 planets. Every faction has a certain extent of authority on economy, politics, public orders, magic, arts and religion. Each faction has its own alliances and hostilities, and different events can occur as a result of the complexity of the relationships between factions.

Faction Wars

Part of the faction training players can take part in Faction Wars. These wars are paired factions going head to head in a battle over strength and training. Players will be able to train themselves in the art of using Castle Gear and build up their teamwork while focused on training their skills.

Characters can join a party at any level. The settings for EXP Share and Loot Drops are only able to be turned on

if the characters in the party are no more than 10 levels different between the lowest level and the highest level

in the party.

02| Party Level

Benefit 1

As the party levels the EXP Bonus given to players increases at 1% per level up to Party Level 50. For a MAX of 50% more EXP while in a party.
