Nintendo 3DS bakal memiliki game horror pertamanya. Team Zero [Fatal Frame], kreator dari seri Fatal Frame mengumumkan game spin-off dari seri Fatal Frame dengan genre horror adventure game. Game dengan judul Shinrei Shashin [Spirit Photo] ini gamer menggunakan Notebook AR memecahkan misteri di balik buku harian ungu yang dikutuk. Diperkirakan game ini akan menggunakan fitur kamera dari 3DS.



Game ini memiliki 3 mode permainan:

* AR Story Mode - Zero: Purple Diary

* Horror Notebook - koleksi mini games menggunakan AR Cards

* Ghost Camera - menggunakan kamera 3DS untuk menangkap roh, melakukan pertempuran melawan roh-roh sebelum mereka menyerang kalian.
