Garden Eels deep
 

This shot is a &quot;garden&quot; of garden eels. These fish eat plankton that floats by but are very shy... you swim near them, and they go down into their holes. A patient diver can get a closer shot if he does nothing on the dive but go down there and sit by the holes waiting for them to come up... but they are pretty deep (about 90-130 feet) and you have to really watch your no-decompression limits and air usage... </p>

<p>I didn't have time to go sit by them (sitting on sand substrate is OK) so this is what I got.</p>
