Billboard adalah majalah mingguan industri musik asal Amerika Serikat. Isinya berupa tangga musik mingguan yang disusun berdasarkan perkembangan kepopuleran lagu dan album. Tangga Billboard yang paling terkenal adalah Billboard Hot 100 yang mendaftar urutan 100 lagu terpopuler tanpa memandang genre atau aliran musik. Tangga lagu Billboard Hot 100 merupakan tolak ukur bagi kepopuleran lagu-lagu di Amerika Serikat. Selain itu, Billboard juga mendaftar album-album terlaris di Amerika Serikat dalam bentuk tangga album Billboard 200. Parade lagu-lagu hit pertama kali dimuat pada 4 Januari 1936, sedangkan tangga musik terpopuler versi Billboard (Music Popularity Chart) pertama kali dimuat pada 20 Juli 1940. Sementara itu, peringkat lagu terpopuler Billboard Hot 100 yang menggabungkan angka penjualan singel dan jumlah pemutaran (airplay) di radio mulai dimuat tahun 1958.
Hingga saat ini, di antara artis-artis yang paling sukses dalam tangga Billboard, terdapat nama-nama seperti The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Madonna, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Nirvana, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, The Supremes, George Strait, Bee Gees, Bing Crosby, Pink Floyd, dan Whitney Houston.
Sejak tahun 2007, majalah Billboard dimiliki The Nielsen Company asal Belanda.
