vPoint HD was the world's first H.264 software based client for personal video conferencing. Now vPoint HD v10.0 offers high definition audio and video with outstanding features and functionality. The high resolution image quality provided by 4CIF, 720p and incoming 1080p enables the sharpest images in natural colour and full motion.
vPoint HD supports ISDN connectivity as well as the ability to connect across firewalls and NAT using H.460.18 and H.460.19 Firewall/NAT traversal. vPoint HD includes a streaming capability via HD Simulcast� that allows vPoint HD to chair or participate in corporate broadcasts. Additionally, vPoint HD incorporates H.239 compliance into HD DualStream�, providing the ability to simultaneously send and receive data and video streams. vPoint HD now supports recording and streaming sessions into Windows Media (WMV) format. vPoint HD is a versatile, key application for any PC or laptop user, in organisations of any size.
With a USB camera attached, vPoint HD becomes a low-cost software based solution with full video conferencing capabilities. With vPoint HD Executive, you can expand the features by using an Osprey-100 analogue video capture card. This card provides multiple high-quality standard definition video inputs and vPoint HD Executive allows you to toggle between video sources during a conference. These could be a live session from a PTZ camera, a training video from a VCR/DVD player, a special event recorded on a Camcorder or paper on a document camera.
