Bahkan, untuk meyakinkan publik, VJ MTV itu memperagakan di hadapan media bagaimana ia berfoto dengan Syahrini. "Foto itu benar adanya saya dengan Syahrini. Tapi saya bersumpah, saya nggak megang sama sekali apalagi meremas bagian dada Syahrini," ujar Daniel di Grato Cafe & Bistro. Hotel Formula 1, Jl. Cikini Raya no 75. Jakarta Pusat, Rabu (18/5/2011).

Lebih lanjut, Daniel mengatakan jika foto-foto tersebut dilakukannya pada sebuah acara di Surabaya. "Tiga tahun lalu di sebuah acara, sudah itu, gua nggak ketemu lagi sama dia," ungkapnya.

Daniel berharap dengan dirinya mengklarifikasi mengenai foto yang tersebar di dunia maya itu, ia tak lagi mendapatkan pemberitaan miring karena keluarganya pun ikut terganggu. "Ya kan di headline pemberitaan banyak yang negatif. Keluarga dan pacar gua sampai nanyain 'emang benar tuh pegang dada Syahrini'. Gua bilang nggak lah," ujar Daniel.

Semenjak foto-foto itu tersebar, Daniel juga mengatakan menjadi takut untuk foto-foto seperti yang dilakukannya dengan Syahrini. "Yah gua kapok. Gua nggak mau alay lagi," tukasnya. (Deva)
