SEJARAH SINGKAT

Sejarah Harvest Moon pertama kali berawal di dunia SNES. Game yang di Jepang bernama Bokojou Monogatari ini langsung menangkap perhatian para gamer di Jepang karena gameplaynya yang unik dan orisinil. Hanya saja, Harvest Moon pertama tidak sempat dikenal oleh kalangan luas karena dirilis pada akhir masa hidup console SNES. Lebih ironis lagi adalah ketika ia masuk ke US pada tahun 1997 ketika semua orang tengah tergila-gila akan kedahsyatan Playstation.



Harvest Moon mencapai masa jayanya di Indonesia (juga dunia) ketika seri pertamanya dirilis untuk Playstation. Dengan tajuk Harvest Moon: Back to Nature, game ini menampilkan apa yang nampaknya sangat digemari oleh para wanita (juga pria) di Indonesia; sebuah game simulasi pertanian dengan tampilan yang imut - dengan tambahan unsur love simulation dalamnya! Harvest Moon: Back to Nature pun menjadi salah satu versi tersukses dalam seri ini.
