It currently ranks as the second-best selling RPG series ever, and the sixth-best selling video game series in the world.

TENTANG FINAL FANTASY
Final Fantasy (ファイナルファンタジー Fainaru Fantajī) adalah salah satu franchise buatan Square-Enix (dulu Square) yg pertama rilis dengan genre RPG pada tahun 1987 di console NES/Famicom buatan Nintendo. Pada saat seri pertama dibuat, Hironobu Sakaguchi bertindak sebagai producer, Nobuo Uematsu sebagai composer, dan Yoshitaka Amano sebagai char designer dan image illustrator. Dengan nama Final Fantasy, game ini adalah harapan terakhir Square yang sedang akan bangkrut saat itu. Namun akhirnya, game Final Fantasy malah membalikkan keadaan Square menjadi sukses dan sampai saat ini seri Final Fantasy menjadi salah satu seri yang masih diandalkan oleh Square-Enix.
