President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono inaugurated Wednesday at the Presidential Palace a Cabinet secretary and three deputy ministers.
Dipo Alam, a deputy to the coordinating economic minister, was appointed the new Cabinet secretary, a post that had been held by State Secretary Sudi Silalahi since the installment of 39 Cabinet ministers in October last year.
Syafri Syamsuddin, the former Defense Ministry secretary-general, is now deputy defense minister, and director general for higher education Fasli Jalal now becomes deputy education minister.
Lukita Dinarsyah, the deputy for development financing at the State Development Planning Agency, is now deputy state minister for national development planning.
However, Yudhoyono delayed the inauguration of Anggito Abimanyu and Fahmi Idris as deputy ministers, due to administrative problems.
