Garcia guided Roma back into the Champions League in his first term in charge in the Italian capital as he looks to break Juventus' stranglehold on the Serie A title.
Veteran keeper De Sanctis believes the club is in an excellent position to begin willing silverware due to the "above average" intelligence of their coach and the forward-thinking approach of club president James Pallotta.
"Pallotta will change Italian football. He and the people working with him are doing something innovative," he told Roma's official TV channel.
"[Garcia] has above average intelligence. As well as his coaching and moral strength, he has great ambition, and a desire to take care of the specifics."
