Default CR7 Tak Masuk "Liga Champions XI"


ZURICH, KOMPAS.com �UEFA secara resmi merilis Team of the Year Liga Champions musim 2010-2011. Yang paling mengejutkan, striker Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7), tak masuk dalam daftar tersebut.
Ronaldo sangat tajam musim ini. Secara keseluruhan, ia mampu menjaringkan 53 gol di semua kompetisi. Di Liga Champions, CR7 melesatkan enam gol dari 12 partai. Sayangnya, hal ini ternyata tak mengangkat namanya di mata para pemberi suara dan juri.
Mereka lebih memilih Raul Gonzalez (Schalke 04) sebagai tandem Lionel Messi (Barcelona) di lini depan. Raul dianggap lebih sukses karena sanggup mengantar klub kecil, seperti Schalke, lolos ke babak empat besar.
Dua finalis musim ini, yakni Manchester United dan Barca, masing-masing menyumbangkan tiga pemain. MU diwakili Edwin Van der Sar, Nemanja Vidic, dan Ryan Giggs. Adapun Barca diwakili Messi, Gerard Pique, dan Andres Iniesta. Nama-nama beken lain, macam Xavi dan Wayne Rooney, tersingkir dalam daftar ini.
