ZWSOFT, an innovative supplier of CAD solutions for the MCAD and AEC industries, announced the release of ZWCAD 2017 SP3.2 with new features and enhancements.

The ZWCAD main package includes general CAD functions such as basic drawing and editing, advanced tools, annotations and dimensions, exporting and Descriptionting, and application programming interfaces. It helps accelerate the design process from concept to completion.

What's new in ZWCAD 2017:

- Improved APIs
VBA and .NET are two widely-used APIs for developers to extend the functionalities of their CAD programs. In this version, ZWCAD 2017 provides approximately 92% of the VBA APIs that the mainstream CAD application offers, and covers almost all the .NET APIs that are frequently used by CAD users. So basically most applications can be easily ported to ZWCAD.
- DWF Support
DWF format is a highly compressed file format that is especially suitable for distributing for review. ZWCAD 2017 has now included DWF file format support, with which users can export, Description or publish their DWG files to DWF files, and they can also display DWF underlays. Also, it should be noted that ZWCAD 2017 can directly open DWF files instead of using an additional DWF viewer. The DWF support helps users to share their ideas more conveniently and effortlessly.
- Dynamic Block
Dynamic blocks allow users to quickly change the shape, size, orientation, position and visibility of objects in blocks by defining parameters and constraints ahead of time. With the dynamic block support, ZWCAD users can modify the parameters to get blocks instead of creating new blocks of different sizes.

Some of the other enhancements or new features include R12 DXF file format support, improved status bar, REFMANAGER, VIEW, DIMSPACE, DIMJOGLINE, etc.
