Selain itu, David mengatakan, awalnya saat mendengar suara kamera itu, kera-kera ini ketakutan, namun kera ini segera kembali lagi."Kera ini pasti telah mengambil ratusan gambar sebelum akhirnya saya mendapat kamera itu lagi."

David mengaku sedang berada di Sulawesi saat bertemu teman-teman menakjubkannya itu. Kera jambul hitam ini diketahui masuk spesies terancam seperti ditulis Telegraph.
