BEIJING - Dua orang pendeta Budha akan merangkak sejauh 804,6 kilometer ke kuil-kuil suci yang berada di China.

Biksu Zhiyuan dan Hanliang akan menghabiskan waktu dua bulan merangkak ke 99 kuil saat menempuh perjalanan Pengunungan Putuo di sebelah timur China. Mereka melakukan hal tersebut hingga menyentuh patung Dewi Guanyin.

"Keduanya akan merangkak dan setiap langkah ketiga mereka akan berhenti dan membungkuk sebagai tanda hormat kepada sang dewi (Guanyin)," ungkap seorang warga seperti dikutip Orange, Selasa (19/10/2010).

Tiap malam kedua biksu tersebut akan tidur di bawah langit dengan hanya menggunakan tempat tidur lipat. Mereka tidak membawa tenda sama sekali.
