Exclamation Kota Container yang Unik Di Mexico

Sebenarnya bukan hal yang baru lagi kalau container dikreasikan menjadi tempat tinggal. Di Indonesia pun, meski belum banyak dan hanya dipesan pengusaha-pengusaha tertentu, container sudah dijadikan macam-macam kegunanaan, di antaranya kamar-kamar hotel.

Nah, yang di Mexico ini cukup menarik di tengok. Kota container ini berada di Cholula, luar kota Mexico, dibangun oleh pengembang yang kreatif. Seperti kota-kota kecil umumnya, maka kota container ini terbilang cukup lengkap. Di sana ada pemukiman penduduk, rumah makan, bar, pertokoan, tempat-tempat hiburan, dll. Semuanya terbuat dari container.

Pengembang menggunakan lahan 4500 sq meter untuk membangunnya. Kontainer-container bekas itu, kemudian dicat dengan warna-warni cerah, ditata sebagaian untuk rumah tinggal, sebagian untuk layanan public.
