I just got back from a 9 day trip in San Salvador. I went with a medical team delivering medicine and treatments (I'm not a doctor, just have a heart for these amazing people). It was this trip last year that inspired me to get back into photography (I had a SLR in Art School), and purchase my D5000.
The amount of opportunities for capturing images was almost overwhelming. I had trouble putting my camera down. I bought a Sigma 18-200 for the trip, but it was not fast enough for what I wanted to do, so I went to my trusty 35mm 1.8.
Here are some of the photos I took, I'd love to hear what you think, what's good, and what can be improved upon next time.
I am limiting how many I put on here, but there are a few more from the trip on my Flickr page if you'd like to look. San Salvador 2010 - a set on Flickr

Thanks for looking, I know this is a lot of pictures, but it was hard to choose only a few from the over 1800 I took. &n |
