Birds are never easy to get shots of - flightly, tiny and speedy they make difficult subjects.
So when one comes and sits only a hands width away its not a chance to lose;

Taken with Canon 400D and kit lens (yah first time I really used it and liked using it for once).
Ok not the best background, and I have played with it a bit to blur since wireing on the trelacing left an annoying blur - I might have overblured a little...
Of course I first ran out with the 70-200mm f2.8 IS for some shots too
