REPUBLIKA.CO.ID,WASHINGTON--Hasil pemutaran film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, di berbagai bagian penjuru dunia telah mencapai nilai lebih dari satu miliar dolar.

Film ini merupakan bagian terakhir seri tentang remaja ahli sihir, Harry Potter. Demikian pengumuman perusahaan produsen film tersebut, Warner Bros. Dengan demikian, untuk kali pertama, film seri Harry Potter menghasilkan sekian banyak uang.
Sebelumnya, rekor penghasil uang terbanyak dipegang oleh seri film bagian pertama, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, sebesar 974 juta dolar.
Namun, hasil ini bukan rekor film terbanyak menghasilkan uang. Sampai saat ini, film Avatar, masih tak terkalahkan, dengan jumlah penghasilan sebanyak 2,8 miliar dolar.

Harry Potter Puaskan Penggemarnya

Hiburan nonton film di gedung bioskop kembali menggeliat, setelah beberapa waktu lalu lesu darah akibat boikot para importir film-film Hollywood.
Film Harry Potter and The Deadhly Hallows part 2 menjadi pembuka kran boikot itu. Sejak pemutaran perdana, film ini langsung diserbu penonton. Bahkan ada yang menonton lebih dari sekali karena tak puas dengan hanya sekali nonton.
Kisah pertarungan terakhir Harry Potter, Hermione dan Ron Weasley melawan Voldemort masih akan terus diputar di gedung-gedung bioskop hingga beberapa minggu ke depan. Tak hanya film Harry Potter, film Hollywood yang tak kalah serunya, Transformer tidak lama lagi juga akan segera diputar di gedung-gedung bioskop di Tanah Air.

    emang bagus sih, tapi kok ngerasa agak anti klimaks ya...
