Satu lagi gunung yang bisa menjadi incaran para pecandu adrenalin adalah Kirunavaara. Yang menarik dari gunung ini adalah tebingnya yang mengandung biji besi. Warga setempat sempat menambang biji besi ini sejak pertama kali ditemukan pada 1730 silam. Kini, proses penambangan menjadi menarik dilihat karena proses eksplorasi dilakukan dengan menembus gunung dan pengerjaannya ini dianggap sebagai yang terbesar di dunia.

Banyak sekali yang dapat dilihat dari Kiruna. Sebuah stasiun peluncur roket Esrange juga menjadi daya tarik kota kecil ini. Stasiun roket tersebut dibuat oleh European Space Research Organization (ESRO) pada 1965 silam dan digunakan untuk meluncurkan roket penelitian.

Kota Kiruna dipenuhi dengan bangunan yang luar bisa indah. Salah satunya adalah balai kota yang dibangun pada 1963. Balai kota ini dilengkapi koleksi seni dan lonceng di menaranya. Salah satu yang menjadi ciri khas adalah ukiran yang ada di balai kota tersebut.
