Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, Seorang bocah 11 tahun dari Vietnam mendapatkan julukan baru sebagai 'gadis mutan' karena tubuhnya bisa mengeluarkan panas tak terduga. Bahkan, benda-benda yang ada di sekitarnya pun ikut terbakar.
Gadis muda yang tinggal di distrik Tan Binh, Ho Chi Minh, telah membakar hampir seluruh lantai tiga rumah keluarganya. Sang ayah mengatakan api berasal dari energi super yang ada di dalam tubuh putrinya, seperti dilansir situs berita Vietman Ngoisao.net, Rabu (23/5/2012).
Orangtua gadis yang tidak disebutkan identitasnya tersebut telah memperhatikan kemampuan aneh putrinya sekitar satu bulan lalu, ketika jaringan listrik rumah mengalami konsleting berkali-kali.
Outlet listrik di sekitar rumah keluarga ini pun meledak ketika 'gadis mutan' itu mendekatinya. Tak hanya itu, banyak lagi benda-benda yang telah dibakarnya, seperti peralatan elektronik, toilet duduk, kamar hotel bahkan pakaiannya sendiri.
Setelah insiden yang terjadi pada tanggal 12 Mei lalu, jaringan listrik rumah pun dialihkan, semua perabotan dan peralatan listrik diletakkan sejauh mungkin dari sang 'gadis mutan'. Ia pun dijaga 24 jam seminggu, bahkan orangtuanya selalu sedia ember penuh berisi air dan handuk basah.
Karena fenomena anehnya, sang gadis pun diuji oleh ilmuwan di Hong Bang International University, di Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Du Quang Chau, seorang ahli radiesthesia (kemampuan untuk mendeteksi 'radiasi' dalam tubuh manusia) melakukan serangkaian tes pada gadis itu dan menemukan sesuatu yang aneh di belahan kanan otaknya.
Menyadari ini adalah kasus yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya baik di Vietnam dan dunia, ia menciptakan sebuah panel untuk melakukan studi tentang tubuh gadis dan lingkungan sekitarnya.
Fenomena unik ini menarik para ilmuwan dari berbagai bidang, termasuk fisika, kedokteran, psikologi, budaya dan sosiologi.
"RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) tes menunjukkan 'halo' aneh di belahan kanan otak gadis itu, yang bisa menjadi penyebab daya yang tidak lazim," jelas Dr Nguyen Manh Hung, Direktur Hong Bang University.
Sang gadis secara medis juga diperiksa di Cho Ray Hospital dan Children No 2 Hospital, tapi dokter tidak menemukan sesuatu yang abnormal.
Hingga saat ini nama sang gadis dan orang tuanya belum diumumkan, tetapi foto-foto rumah mereka yang rusak telah diterbitkan di beberapa media.

Scientists rejected environment as the element that causes the girl�s special ability because fires happened everywhere where the girl appeared. They collected soil, water, objects from the girl�s home for analysis.
Dr. Hung said that after scanning the girl�s brain, they discovered a strange line on her right brain�s right side, which only happens with the brains of philosophers or priests

Hung said that there is a red mark on her forehead. The mark disappeared when she put on a black quartz bracelet and re-appeared when the bracelet was taken off. But when the girl wore the bracelet, she felt uncomfortable and felt an electric current running through her body.
The special ability of the little girl was discovered by her family about one month ago when fires appeared wherever the girl appeared.
At first, the family�s electricity network underwent repetitive short circuiting. Many electrical sockets in the house also burnt when the girl approached them. The family took the girl to a scientist, named Du Quang Chau, at Hong Bang International University for treatment. After several tests, the scientist said he noticed variations from the norm in her cerebral hemisphere.
The girl was medically examined at Cho Ray Hospital and the Children No. 2 Hospital but doctors found nothing abnormal about her body.
The girl once had a serious accident at the age of 3.
