Powerlogic�s new Armaggeddon line of gaming products would not be complete without featuring their own gaming keyboards, and Powerlogic delivers with the Armaggeddon AK300. The AK300 is surprisingly lightweight, despite it being rather large, making it a boon to carry around to your next LAN party, or for general use. The keys are evenly sized and spaced, which makes typing a rather comfortable experience. Most of the keys have a slight contour, which fits fingers nicely.
On the top left and right corners of the AK300 are five shortcut keys each, with the ones on the left side catering to general functions, and the ones on the right being programmed for media playback. Unfortunately, the keys cannot be reprogrammed to different functions, but even then, the keys should prove to be useful instead of fumbling around menus.
For all the gamers out there who are afraid of wearing out the keys, the AK300 comes with a set of replacement keys for both the common WASD and the arrow keys. That should make the AK300 last you for quite some time. All in all, for those looking for a keyboard that does both typing and gaming nicely, the Armaggeddon AK300 can�t be beat.
