NEW DELHI- Berbeda dengan di Indonesia, di negara asalnya Bajaj Auto malah berniat menaikkan harga produk-produknya per Januari 2011.

Kenaikan harga ini diperkirakan sebesar Rp200.000. Bajaj beralasan kenaikan ini seiring meningkatnya harga bahan baku pembuat sepeda motor.

"Terus meningkatnya biaya untuk bahan baku menjadi penyebab utama kenaikan ini," jelas President Bajaj Auto S Sridhar, seperti dikutip dari Indianon2wheels, Minggu (19/12/2010).

Namun ia yakin, kenaikan harga ini masih dalam taraf yang wajar dan juga produk-produk Bajaj masih menghadirkan mutu yang tak kalah dengan pesaingnya.

"Maka kami harapkan kenaikan harga ini tidak mempengaruhi penjualan kami," tambah Sridhar.

Kenaikan harga bahan baku automotif di India ternyata memicu beberapa produsen sepeda motor lainnya menaikan harga jual produk mereka.

Tak hanya Bajaj, Hero Honda dan juga dua produsen motor lainnya di India juga mengumumkan kenaikan harga.

wajar ndan bisa naek kn banyak yg pake tpi partsnya susah bner dicari biasanya cuma ada di dealer aja
