Dimarzio pickups:DiMarzio | DiMarzio.com D Activator-X�/Dp222 - dp221... - Include Screws and springs pickups The DiMarzio X2N has been the top choice for all-out power for nearly 30 years. In the last two years, DiMarzio has developed totally new ways to combine power with clarity, which first resulted in the D Activator. Now they bring you the D Activator-X Model. It features the same striking look and high output as the X2N, but they tuned the coils to different frequencies to allow maximum power wide open with a surprisingly clean sound when the volume control is rolled down, even with extreme metal and high-gain amps. The D Activator-X model features a universal spacing for both standard and F-spaced applications. Tech Talk: The D Activator-X humbucker uses the same bar polepieces and magnet structure as the X2N, but it's a very different pickup in other ways. Output voltage is slightly lower than the X2N, and the tuning of the two coils allows the high frequencies to "open up" while still maintaining very strong lows and mids. The D Activator-X is also very good for clean, bright sounds in split and parallel modes.   The D Activator� Bridge DP220 & Neck DP219... SOLDOUT!!! The D Activator� Bridge has an enriched harmonic quality and the notes want to sing. Both the D Activator� Neck and Bridge pickups were designed to eliminate the sterile edginess commonly associated with active pickups. The D Activator� Bridge pickup is about 25% louder than the D Activator� Neck. Since we were developing both pickups as a set from the ground up, we adjusted the volume levels on the pickups so they are balanced. That way when you switch from the neck to the bridge, you don�t hear a drop in volume - also a frequent problem with active pickups. And they don�t use batteries...  Evolution� dp159/bridge & dp158/neck (white)... ready stock!!! The Evolution� Neck and Bridge humbuckers are the result of two years of research to come up with the right sound for a very demanding player: Steve Vai and his Ibanez� Jems. Both pickups are designed for maximum impact and power. The neck pickup is fat, punchy and loud. The bridge pickup is tight, aggressive and louder. Both pickups have our patented dual-resonance configuration to reproduce more harmonic overtones than conventional humbuckers. Evolution� pickups are not polite-sounding, and they�re not for the inexperienced, but � if you�ve got the chops and a hot amp � your sound will burn. The Evolution� pickups were originally designed with live gigs in mind, but they have so much presence and definition that they�re great recording pickups, too; they slice right through even the densest mix.  Dimarzio/ibz Pickups.. Humbucking pickup used for RG Prestige models in bridge and neck position. According to DiMarzio, the neck pickup is fairly bright-sounding, similar to a DiMarzio Super 2 (DP104). The bridge pickup is a little louder and warmer-sounding, and resembles a cross between the DiMarzio Steve Morse Bridge Model (DP200) and the DiMarzio Super Distortion (DP100). Air Norton�- DP193 The Air Norton� started out simply to be the Airbucker� version of the Norton�. We thought it would make a distinctive-sounding bridge pickup with high-gain amps, but we soon discovered that it�s a radically neat neck pickup, too. The tone is deep and warm, but not muddy. It�s hot, but not distorted. It�s even got cool harmonics, which are really unusual for a neck humbucker. The patented Air Norton� magnetic structure reduces string-pull, so sustain is improved; and pick attack and dynamics are tremendously controllable and expressive. Combine the Air Norton� with an Air Zone�, The Tone Zone� or Steve�s Special� in the bridge position for a perfect blend of power and tone, or use an Air Norton� in the bridge position with an Air Classic� Bridge model in the neck position for a distinctive medium-output blues-rock sound... The Tone Zone�- DP155 Have you ever heard a bridge pickup that made a guitar sound like a giant mosquito attack? If you�ve run into this problem, The Tone Zone� is the solution. The Tone Zone� is hot enough to qualify as a high-output pickup, but it has a wider dynamic range � hard picking will produce a lot of power, and softer picking will be much cleaner and quieter. It�s got tremendous bass and low-mid response to reinforce the bottom end and make the overall sound bigger. The highest single notes have depth, and chords sound huge. Patented dual-resonance coils reproduce more overtones than you�d expect from such a fat-sounding pickup. It makes a great match with an Air Norton�, PAF Joe�, or PAF Pro�, and split-coil mode produces an excellent single-coil sound as well.  ISCV2 Evolution Single Coil Pickups... DiMarzio ISCV2 WH Evolution Single Coil Pickup, Steve Vai, This is the legendary JEM single coil pickup, White... Now you can get the same pickup used in the middle position of Steve Vai�s Jem series guitars -- The DiMarzio Evolution ISCV2 Single Coil. This pickup must be wired to DiMarzio Evolution neck and bridge humbuckers according to the included instructions. It does not sound like an Evolution when played by itself.  Air Norton S...SOLDOUT!!! is the Strat replacement version of the full-size DiMarzio Air Norton . It 's warm-sounding, very well balanced, and has the same unique tonal characteristics as the original. The original Air Norton wasn 't designed for a specific position or type of guitar, but it 's become most popular in the neck position of trem-equipped guitars for progressive music (thanks, John!). The S version is also a very good bridge pickup for all types of rock. Its combination of medium output and harmonic bite are very effective for single-note soloing as well as chords...
