JACQUES BOGART Bogart Man EDT 90ml = 240rb - stok parfum jadoel  Bogart by Jacques Bogart is a Aromatic Fougere fragrance for men. Bogart was launched in 1975. Top notes are rosemary and lemon blossom; middle notes are nutmeg, cloves and geranium; base notes are oakmoss, leather and birch. Comment dr basenotes : 15 Positive Reviews & 2 Neutral Reviews &No Negative Reviews A fougere in the same family as Paco Rabanne and Captain by Molyneux. Bogart opens with a fresher, brighter citrus note than Paco, and as it progresses, the middle and base notes emerge more smoothly. It doesn't have the complexity of Paco, but the drydown is a very pleasing leathery-spicy mixture with some greens, and it manages to be smooth and rich without being overly sweet. I seem to choose this one more for daytimes than for evenings, and it always puts me in a positive frame of mind Seventies Era powerhouse chypre. Very green and herbal, but also leathery and tough -- imagine Equipage without its polite veneer and rounded corners. A definite classic, yes, but one which would likely not sell well today -- not at all. This is a very masculine, very French affair whose composition would today be a bit of a dinosaur. (And more's the pity.) What intrigues me about this wonderful scent is that it effortlessly brings together the solid masculinity of sweet spice and leather with a suave herbal freshness. Decidedly pre-80s - and the better for it - this exudes so much more sophistication than many of the Gordon Gekko-era frag dreadnoughts. As stated previously, utterly classic, but in no way outdated and deserving of much greater attention than it seems to receive these days. Certainly a must for anyone with a deeper interest in fragrances. Bogart Rules! This was the real masculine scent I was looking for!!! It's simply spectacular! I always get compliments when i wear it !!I just don't recommend it for youngers.. ***** WORTH Pourhomme M EDT 100ml = 230rb - parfum jadoel  Top Notes Bergamot, Lavender, Rosemary, Petitgrain Middle Notes Carnation, Fern, Pine, Geranium Base Notes Moss, Cedarwood, Leather, Amber, Musk COmment dr basenotes : Now this is what a leather fragrance should smell like! A true classic from the old school, Worth Pour Homme is considered by most people to be a fougere, and when you first spray this on, it has a sharp, woody opening accord of lavender and citrus that is reminiscent of old-fashioned fougeres like Trumper�s Wild Fern (which I�ve heard is reminiscent of the venerable Fougere Royale). Within a half hour, however, those top notes fade to reveal a very warm, smooth, rich but discreet leather accord. This is not the nasty, gasoline-and-shoe polish accord that passes for leather in Knize Ten. To me, it is this leather accord that dominates and defines Worth PH, and in turn Worth PH exemplifies what I consider to be a leathery perfume. The leather really is the heart of this fragrance, and it does fade as the drydown emerges, but you can still sense it even in the drydown, which is very musky and virile. I have the version with the clear bottle and blue box, which I believe is the reformulated version. I've heard the orignal formulation was a bit of a powerhouse, but the version I have is anything but. It has very good longevity (8-10 hours), but its sillage is that of a "skin scent". I need to really spray this on hard (oh, about 20 sprays) to be able to even smell it on myself, but then again I believe most fougeres are meant to be applied liberally. Worth PH is not an extroverted, macho scent, but rather a very masculine, old-school but timeless fragrance for a refined, confident gentleman. It is extremely discreet and extremely good. Big thumbs up. My rating: 8.5/10 Worth smells like a brighter and sweeter Paco Rabanne, which is saying a lot. I realize that I am comparing the fragrances in their new versions, but if I had to choose between the two, it would be PR. I suspect, from other comments, that the original Worth was the superior juice. Worth is a robust and heady tonic, so a couple of sprays will do, and it lasts forever. A slightly austere, but deeply satisfying example of masculine cleanliness.The opening is astringent, strident and delightfully crisp. The presence of lavender and rosemary lend a distinct edge to this stage, a necessarily bold statement that sets the tone for the whole experience. It softens gradually during its lifespan and after a couple of hours this is something to cherish. In its design, this fragrance is a classic fougere, but it's real quality lies in the simplicity of the execution. There are powdery characteristics on my skin akin to Paco Rabanne and Cerutti 1881, but in my view neither of these two have quite the finish and understated class of Worth Pour Homme. The sillage is on the exroverted side of contained, and the longevity is substantial, the morning application lasting some eight hours on a cool Spring day The leather in this is so readily noticeable, I almost didn't think this had anything else in it. Seems to not last too, too long at least 4 hours on me. Dries down into the cedarwood and musk quite nicely. I honestly think that if you can't find Helmut Lang's Cuiron, get this. It's not as strong but it's a very good fresh leather alternative. It was very well composed, and is proof that a wrong "nose" and low quality ingredients could create a disaster. Bravo Mr. Morillas! Great job from Ferrari! Uomo, which its smell supports its name perfectly, is a highly masculine and perfectly young fragrance. It evokes all youth ambitious desires; like driving a Ferrari at least for once! It opens with a equally balanced of spicy, citric and woody notes. Not so unique and extraordinary but satisfies very well! It's waxy in the opening, sweet but not sugary and so chic and masculine. It's not sexy but attractive and not bothersome. You may have not get any compliment but be sure you put yourself in other's hearth without any connection!
