Film perang garapan Steven Spielberg, Saving Private Ryan, termasuk dalam jajaran box office ketika dirilis 12 tahun silam. Selain jaminan nama besar Spielberg, film ini juga didukung deretan aktor terkenal, diantaranya Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, Vin Diesel, Paul Giamatti hingga Giovanni Ribisi. Di ajang bergengsi Academy Awards, Saving Private Ryan juga merebut 5 Oscar, masing-masing untuk kategori Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing, Best Sound dan Best Effects/Sound Effects Editing. Di BAFTA Awards, film ini juga meraih 2 piala untuk Best Sound dan Best Special Effects. Sementara di Golden Globe juga berhasil mendapat 2 award untuk kategori Best Motion Picture Drama dan Best Director.

3 film itu bagus2..latar belakangny beda2..
Mungkin alasan dipilih SPR karena filmnya keluar d tahun 90an dibanding 2 film laennya..
