OTOMOTIF Award 2012 digelar dengan kemasan yang berbeda. Bukan lagi disisipkan di tengah OTOBURSA Tumplek Blek, tapi digelar di Senayan City siang hari ini (21/3).

Penghargaan kali ini diikuti oleh semua sepeda motor yang dijual massal pada periode Mei 2011 hingga Januari 2012. Jadi jangan kaget kalau beberapa motor baru belum tercatat. Seperti kehadian Honda Vario Techno 125 atau Yamaha Mio J.

"Tahun ini 5 aspek penilaian pada sepeda motor tetap digunakan yaitu; desain, performa, handling, fitur dan teknologi, konsumsi bahan bakar dan harga. Khusus untuk penghargaan bike of the year ditambahkan aspek kebaruan dan kemassalan," jelas Heronimus Girindra, ketua tim OTOMOTIF Award 2012.

Dan untuk kategori motor terbaik tahun ini, jatuh pada Honda CBR 250R sebagai Bike of the year 2012.

Sedang model-model terbaru di sepanjang periode pengetesan yang berhak atas penghargaan ini adalah Honda Spacy Helm In di kategori best skutik 100-115. Best of the best moge diisi oleh Kawasaki ER-6n. Rookie of the Year ditempati Yamaha Mio Fino.

Sementara kategori baru Gen Brani dibawa pulang Kawasaki Ninja 250R. Motor sport dua silinder ini mampu mewakili jiwa muda pemberani khas OTOMOTIF. sumber (motorplus-online.com)
