It gives users the 10/100Mbps dual speed flexibility, scalable expansion, and the most competitive price for plug-and-play connection of Ethernet and Fast Ethernet workgroups.

Dual Speed Flexibility

With Ethernet/Fast Ethernet support at the port level, users can deply 100Mbps when needed, and still run 10Mbps on some desktops on the same network.



Easy to Use

Each port on the hub supports dual 10/100Mbps speeds. The hub auto-negotiates the speed with the connected nodes and creates independent 10Mbps and 100Mbps segments. No configuration setting is necessary, and Ethernet and Fast Ethernet users can be physically located anywhere on the network.



Easy Migration

Migration from Ethernet to Fast Ethernet requires no installation of new hubs, no re-connection of hub ports, no change of wiring. As the most cost-effective device for migration to high-bandwidth, the hub protect users' investment by extending their lifespan through transition from 10Mbps to 100Mbps.



10/100Mbps Integration

The hub is equipped with built-in 10/100Mbps packet switching capability. With this, connection between 10Mbps and 100Mbps segments of the entire stack is transparent, allowing Ethernet and Fast Ethernet users to talk to each other on the same network.



Scalable Expansion

Stackable in groups of 5, the hub allows users to gradually add ports as their network expands. Users can start with a single hub, then add units to eventually reach 80-ports per stack, without incrementing the repeater count. An MDI uplink interface allows easy cascading of 2 stacks to bring the port density up to 158.
