I just need some confirmation here...

Colors tend to be more saturated when you underexpose, right? I think I read that somewhere... So then that would be the reason that some of my band images (you know, the ones with the gelled lights ) are coming out super-saturated beyond (at least what I believe is beyond) the help of post? Because they're underexposed?

 

Or am I way off base here?
