a few weeks ago a friend called me because the hired photog did not show up for their Marine Corps Ball. I agree to come and take the posed shots, which were horrible and I want to poke my eyes out when looking at them, but that is for a different thread and no, I will NOT show any of those....
But as the night slowed down, I walked around and just snapped some candids of people. They are not "good" but I think they are pretty neat in that snapshot sort of way. It was DARK in there, I mean DARK, candle light dining, think club lighting. I had fun shooting these and I hope to do it again, plus it is good wedding practice, so I'd like cc on what I could have done better. I was using the D90, handheld, with my SB-600 mounted on camera, and turning it every different angle testing out the bouncing... but I should have written down where I bounced for what shots, I didnt and I'm having a hard time figuring it out.
Thanks
