Hi well I was shooting with sony a300, now i will switch to canon or nikon actually i don't know wich one will suit me better.
On the operation side i have this questions.
I read on the manual of the D7k and D90 that to change the exposure compensation/ISO you have to keep pressed the button then use the dial wheel. This can be changed ? to press once release and then use the dial ?
On the Canon 60D I read *what i understand* that for EC you have to press the shutter button half, and then use the rear wheel to change it. I find this a little weird, this could be assigned to a button ? On the ISO I understand that you have to press once, right ?
Now on the AF department. I will be shooting offroad racing.
Which one you think can keep the track on the cars/bikes, D7000 or 60D or the d90 could do it ? My understand would be the d7k can do it better, because of the 39 AF points, however i don't know if those are more just a gimick and the real usefull points would be the 9 cross-points which put the d7k on pair with the 60D
Also I will be doing landscape (with filters) and product shots. In this department i dont have any doubt, any of the three will do it excelent.
At first I had my eyes on the d7000 but I found *think are* some very good deals right now. D90 with 18-105 +70-300 VR $1358, Canon 60D 18-135 + 55-250 IS for $1298. Or the msrp d7000 kit for 1499.
Unfortunately i can't try the d7000 or the 60d in hand, right now i'm Mexico, and here arent available, so i will be doing my purchase online, but i'm affraid that if i take to long on choosing i might lose the deals. (I'm moving to the states in a month)
My max budget for the initial purchase will be around 1500 usd. Later I will change kit lenses for some faster ones, but I will have to keep the kit lenses for at least 4-5 months.
Just for reference my ex-gear was Sony A300, Tamron 17-50/2.8, 50/1.7,70-210 F4,28/2.8,Macro 50 F2.8, Flash F58AM, 2* 5400 xi.
Any input will be gladly appreciated.
Thanks. &n Terkait:
