I thought I'd give another try to shooting hockey...

 

Although limited by a slow lens (75-300mm f/4.0-5.6) no IS and I did not have a tripod/monopod... I think the result came out pretty good. Although it is quite noisy...

 

The best I could do was f/4.5 with a shutter of 1/60th of a second and ISO set at 400.
