Chucks Wills Widow
As luck would have it. I was coming home with some mulch when I saw this chuck-will's-widow on a post near Citrus hills blvd, where the golf carts cross the road. I had to run home get the camera and come back. There it was still on the post where I first saw it. I hear them at night this time of the year, but had not seen one. This one was asleep on the post until I got a little to close. He flew to the nearest house and landed on the roof, fortunate for me the house was vacant. You can her this bird in the spring most every night but, If ever do you see them.
