Not sure if a docile farm creature qualifies as wildlife, but she is certainly standing in "nature". Matter of fact, I stepped in nature myself while feeding Pop's cows!

 

My family and I fled from Ike. We don't know when we'll head back, as our house doesn't have power. No damage, but...no power. Lots of yardwork to do as the eye passed over our house, and didn't knock down any of our trees. My neighbors didn't fair as well. Keep the gulf coast in your thoughts and prayers.

 

We are getting out with the kids and making the most of it. They won't have school for a week!
