Beberapa dari komandan pasti udah pernah nonton film "Letter to Juliet" bukan? Film romantis ini dibuat disebuah kota di Italy yang bernama Verona.

Sekilas info mengenai Verona


Verona adalah sebuah kota di Veneto, Italia Utara, salah satu dari 7 ibu kota provinsi di kawasan tersebut. Verona merupakan salah satu tujuan wisata utama di Italia Timur Laut, berkat warisan artistik, beberapa pameran tahunan, pertunjukan, dan operanya, seperti musim lirik di Arena, amfiteater kuno yang dibangun bangsa Romawi.

Verona penting secara historis dan ekonomis berkat lokasi geografisnya, di lengkungan Sungai Adige dekat Danau Garda. Karena kedudukannya, daerah ini berulang kali menjadi langganan banjir hingga tahun 1956, ketika Saluran Mori-Torbole dibangun, memungkinkan 500 m³ air dari sungai tersebut dialirkan ke Danau Garda bila ada bahaya banjir. Saluran tersebut mengurangi risiko banjir dari 70 tahun sekali menjadi 2 abad sekali.

Kota ini pertama kali di temukan di Lembah Po di Abad ke-6 SM. Kota yang dilestarikan dari Penduduk pertamanya yaitu Bangsa Cenomani dari Roma. Saat ini kota ini adalah campuran dari sebuah pasar yang menggambarkan kerya terkenal Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet" dan sebuat kota modern di Itali. Setelah dibuatnya film "Letter toJuliet" oleh Hollywoods, kota ini berubah menjadi kota cinta, baik untuk orang yang jatuh cinta, dan yang patah hati.
