Karya foto yang memukau ternyata mampu mencetak uang puluhan juta dollar. Tak percaya ? Simak saja foto-foto berikut. Karya foto ini jadi tenar karena harganya yang menjulang dan ditahbiskan sebagai foto termahal saat ini.

Ini adalah foto sungai Rhein yang diambil dari jepretan seniman asal Jerman, Andreas Gursky.

Terlihat di sini, foto sungai yang berwarna keperakan diapit oleh hamparan rumput berwarna hijau, di bawah langit yang temaram.

Rhein II, nama foto ini, terjual di rumah lelang Christie, New York dengan harga USD 4,3 juta atau sekitar Rp 39,6 miliar.

Hingga sekarang, belum ada yang mengalahkan rekor foto termahal di dunia yang dipegangnya.

Untitled #96 dibuat pada tahun 1981. Sherman sendiri memang dikenal dengan karya conceptual portraiture.

Foto ini diambil di studio Vancouver. Dalam karyanya, Wall mendandani sekelompok aktor dengan pakaian militer dan darah palsu.
