Cool Kampung nelayan Suku Kamoro di Mimika Timur

Nomaden, cara hidup berpindah-pindah dari suatu sisi pantai ke sisi lainnya sudah dilakoni nelayan suku Kamoro ini sejak dulu. Tak ada patokan jelas kapan mereka meninggalkan daerah yang sat berpindah ke daerah lainnya.

Saat kami berkunjung kesana, terlihat para penjual ikan, kepiting dan kerang yang masih segar.

Anak anak yang berkumpul dan bermain di pasar nelayan

Namun ada satu yang menarik perhatian kami. Hewan berlendir, berbau sedikit anyir ini juga ditawarkan. Tambelo, itu namanya, sejenis ubur-ubur yang hidup di bekas kayu-kayu yang sudah mati dan berada di pinggir pantai. Masyarakat setempat percaya bahwa Tambelo dapat meningkatkan stamina tubuh. Biasa dikonsumsi oleh mereka yang baru sembuh dari suatu penyakit. Kami pun mencoba kuliner ektrem ini.
