Stasiun kereta La Gare de Strasbourg dirancang pada tahun 1883 oleh seorang arsitek asal Berlin bernama Johann Jacobsthal, lalu direnovasi lagi pada tahun 2007. Dalam renovasi ini, ditambahkan rangka kaca serta 120 meter konstruksi kaca di bagian luar, sehingga stasiun ini nampak bagaikan permata yang bersinar bila diterpa oleh sinar matahari.
